I have been anticipating sharing this for a while now…and now that I am writing this post, I feel like words are inadequate. It is such an honor to be a wedding photographer and Ashley and I really love being a part of our couples’ love story, but it is a whole other thing to witness the love story of two people as it unfolds…to know the ins and outs and to see it blossom. I wish I could describe what it is like to see your brother take so many steps, including giving his life to Christ, in just a few short years…and then to meet the girl of his dreams, fall in love, and begin to live out a lifelong journey of devotion. But I really can’t. I am just blown away.

When Victoria came into Simon’s life, I watched his heart become quickly steadfast. The two are best friends and have already surmounted obstacles most couples never attempt to conquer. Their wedding day was PERFECT because it was a beautiful display of this strength. From the hours of hard work and patience that they endured in planning, preparing, and executing their big day, to the raw emotion during the ceremony, these two proved to every witness in attendance that they are in it for good, that God has bound them together for a reason beyond just themselves.

I cried during their soul-baring vows, I laughed during their portraits, I beamed through their reception. Simon and Victoria, your wedding is one of the most powerful things I have ever experienced. Your love and devotion to eachother has already reached beyond just you two and has affected the hearts of those around you. Even more than that, your fire for the Lord is what fuels your passionate pursuit of Life together. Your legacy has forever changed for the better and your purpose TOGETHER is manifesting itself in you step by step.

THANK YOU for the honor of capturing your wedding images…may they remind you forever of the day you promised your lives to eachother. The day the two became one.
