It is amazing what fresh air and warm weather can do to motivate and inspire! The past few days have been BEAUTIFUL…we had 70-degree weather here in Virginia and it’s still February! We absolutely love being outdoors and it has been so hard being stuck inside constantly this winter, working away. We took Rhitten out to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather and to walk through classy shops that we can’t afford…we love outdoor malls, loose leaf tea (we literally spent like an hour sniffing the teas at Capital Teas and tasting their AMAZING samples!!), Pottery Barn, and ginger beer! Maine Root makes the best non-alcoholic ginger brew and if you like ginger and want a spicy and healthier alternative to a soda, you have to try this! It’s probably a good thing we don’t have spending money right now because we probably would have bought the tea place and Pottery Barn….and a couple of clothing stores that we loved….completely out of stock. We are happy to have the time to walk around together, nonethless, and Rhittie had such a blast! There was a stuffed doggie standing in the doorway to one shop and he totally thought it was real! He was petting and kissing it and it was SO ADORABLE….he seriously makes us want to pop with happiness!! When it got dark we took him to Toys-R-Us to walk around and he found a little Rhittie-sized chair that was an orange fox and LOVED it! He was hugging it and cried when we put it back on the shelf )’:

Having a family to enjoy life with is the most amazing thing. We are three best buddies and being out in the beautiful sun and warm weather is all I could ever ask for. I am so thankful for the grace of God that allows us to breathe this refreshing air deep into our lungs, to feel the warm sun on our skin and soak it in, and to spend time with the people I love the most! His gifts of laughter and joy are so precious and so overlooked so often. This year, we plan to take nothing for granted…to enjoy every single day we are given, and to thank God all the time for how GOOD He is to us!!
